Shane Ng Bing Ming is an artist who explores the structural balance and disposition of objects in the form of assemblages, often drawing attention to their configurations or spatial concerns. His research focuses on the inherent conditions and boundary conditions of the features present in each work he produces. He is particularly interested in the animatedness that is presented or led to from the way the works are shown. 

Shane is a recipient of The Winston Oh Study Grant 2019 and the winner of the Bishops Art Prize in 2015. He is a Master of Fine Arts graduate with distinction from the LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Norwich University of the Arts, United Kingdom, and Diploma in Fine Arts from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore.
